We are OATS THE LABEL, an independent fashion label designed and handmade in Naarm/Melbourne by a small team of five makers.

At the heart of OATS THE LABEL is a love of getting dressed up, feeling a little bit special, and finding pieces you want to keep reaching for. Our collections are personal, feminine, playful and a little nostalgic. Made with every body in mind, with soft shapes, ruffles, ruching, straps, ties, and thoughtful little details that make each piece feel like its own, that you can wear in any way you please.

Everything is made locally in small runs, with a lot of care put into how each garment looks, feels and fits. We put a lot of love into every piece we make, always thinking about the person who will eventually wear it. More than anything, we want to make clothes you feel your best in, pieces that feel personal, special and like they really belong to you.

They’re not meant to feel overly precious though. They’re clothes to live in, wear out, dance in, take on holidays, lend to your friends and pull out again years later.

OATS THE LABEL is really about making getting dressed feel fun. Pieces that feel a little romantic, a little cheeky, and hopefully like something you’re always excited to put on.
